Several McKinney restaurants have opened in the past few weeks. The theme? Eggs.

The newest McKinney restaurant is Broken Yolk Cafe, which “cracked open” its doors June 26, 2024, according to a press release. (We like a pun.) Broken Yolk has healthy breakfast options like a scrambled egg white wrap and a vegan bowl with plant-based eggs and veggies, as well as omelets, Benedicts, biscuits and gravy, and more. There’s lunch, too. Find it at District 121, a $250 million development at State Highway 121 and Alma Road. Now open at 6651 Alma Road, Suite 250, McKinney.
